We spent the weekend sight-seeing since we couldn't be admitted to the hospital until Monday. There is a giant red sculpture that serves as a major landmark in a part of downtown Qingdao called May 4th Square. A 40-minute cab-ride later we were there! We walked along the boardwalk - it was VERY HUMID! We immediately bought umbrellas for shade. We soon realized that Qingdao was the sight where the Sailing portion of the 2008 Olympics was held. We enjoyed some games along the boardwalk and ended up at the Olympic Sailing museum. It wasn't long before we realized we had a celebrity in our midst. Apparently, there aren't many cute young blond girls in this area so many people are excited to see Sarah. They often stop us and ask if they can take a picture with her.
